Privacy in Research - GDPR / AVG (E-learning only; PWO)

This course is mandatory for anyone performing research activities at the UMCG: from physicians and senior clinical (or other) researchers to PhD candidates, research students, research nurses, research coordinators, etc.

If you are doing preclinical research or research with laboratory animals, not all parts of the e-learning might be relevant. Nevertheless, we strongly recommend following this e-learning if you perform any form of research activities at the UMCG so that you will be aware of the right privacy laws and regulations.

You can also attend a workshop (in Dutch) to discuss the implementation of the GDPR in your research practice. Please note that you will not be able to sign up until you have completed 80% of each chapter of this e-learning. To sign up, you can click on the event below.
