An effective Data Management Plan (DMP) ensures your data is FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable) and serves as a comprehensive blueprint for your project's data, both during and after the study.

A well-crafted DMP enhances your research's organization, storage, coding, and documentation, leading to smoother project execution and greater data impact through reuse, collaborations, and citations.
You will be guided through the document as you write it, receive tips and tricks, and further information about RDM specific to your project. Data Stewards from the UMCG Digital Competence Center will be present to help you out and answer questions.
Who should attend?
GSMS PhD students and beginning researchers at UMCG.
Open to experienced researchers and research support staff, though designed primarily for PhD students and beginners.
